Silver Bow County — home to Butte, America, a historic town with a rich history of mining. It’s in located in southwestern Montana along the Continental Divide. One of the more prominent landmarks in Butte is the infamous Berkeley Pit, a former open-it copper mine, 1000 feet deep, that now sits full of very colorful “water.” It’s actually kind of pretty, if it wasn’t so toxic. 😉
These slippers have the colors of the pit. Lots of COPPER — and other colors found in and around it. Burgundy soles, boots in a mix of burgundy and green, and bright copper cuffs and a stripe. Emblem in green and brown.
These slippers are favorites of those of us who live in Montana — pride and all. But they’re also great gifts for out-of-state friends. They’ll always think of you when they look at their feet! Even if you’ve never been to Montana, you’ll just feel really cool wearing these!
The Montana appliqué is only on the RIGHT foot — so if you know you’re left foot from your right you’ll be fine. 😉 Just want to make sure you don’t think I missed a foot.

All Pahhhs slippers are handmade with 100% polyester Chenille yarn. The MONTANA hearts and fish appliqués are made of felt, hand-stitched together and to the slipper. The appliqués are sewn on REALLY well, but you might want to wash them in a mesh lingerie bag so they don’t catch on a errant button or zipper. That’s what I do!
If you’d like to personalize your slippers with a special COLOR COMBO that you don’t see in the shop, let me know and I can probably make them for you — assuming it’s a nice color combo that matches the motif. I won’t make anything ugly. 😉Okay, I will if that’s what you REALLY want. I won’t like it, but I’ll do it. 🙄
Remember, these are handmade slippers. So there will be variations from pair to pair. But, hey, that’s what makes them ALL ONE OF A KIND! 😉
