❤️ GROOVY RED FLORAL 💚
If you’re not afraid of color … big blue and orange flowers on a bright red background. 🤷🏻♀️ Back layer in a solid blue. 😉
I’m wearing a size medium in the photos! I like the way a medium fits ME! I think I have a pretty average-sized woman’s face. 😊
Each mask has some cool features!
✱ Two layers of 100% cotton fabric.
✱ Fully pleated front and back layers.
✱ A pocket inside the back layer to put a paper towel or filter.
✱ Wire (pipe cleaner) across the entire top to fit snugly around the nose and cheeks.
✱ Felt side loops/flaps to attach head or ear ties.
✱ SOFT stretchy fleece ties on each side.
✱ Easy to wash and dry — and wear again and again.
Each masks comes with enough fleece ties to fit any face. 👩🏻👴🏼👨🏻👵🏻🧒🏻 Fit it to YOUR face, tie the ties, snip off the excess, hide the knot inside the flap, and you’re good to go! 💁🏻♀️ If you happen to have elastic you’d rather use (congrats on having elastic! 😏) you can use that, too. Or you can use string, laces, or ANYTHING you want to make the ties longer and reach around your head. It’s up to you!
✳️ SIZING ✳️
I’m making FOUR SIZES — children, small, medium, and large. I’m modeling a size large or a size medium in the photos (each is noted above) so you can see how each fits me. 💁🏻♀️😉 I recently resized the medium and find it fits MY face perfectly. The large is a bit too tall for me but should fit most men well!
The CHILDREN size fits my almost-two-year-old grand niece pretty well — but you’ll want to measure your child’s face to see which size would cover them best. Most men will wear a LARGE!
✱ The size CHILDREN is 4-1/2″ wide and 3″ tall — when pleats are expanded will be about 3-3/4″
✱ The size SMALL is 5-1/4″ wide and 3-1/2″ tall — when pleats are expanded will be about 4-1/4″
✱ The size MEDUM is 6″ wide and 4″ tall — when pleats are expanded will be about 4-3/4″.
✱ The size LARGE is 6-3/4″ wide and 4-1/2″ tall — when pleats are expanded will be about 5-1/4″.
ABOUT THE FACE MASKS

😷 After making face masks for lots of family and friends for the past month 🙄 … I’ve gotten really good at it! And it’s kinda fun! 🤷🏻♀️ So I’m gonna continue for a while. 😊
Up until now I’ve been just raiding my fabric stash and making one-of-a-kind masks — specially for the person I’m giving it to. But recently I caved and bought some brand new fabrics — just for face masks! 🤗 A wide variety of prints and colors so hopefully there’s something for everyone.
These masks are sewn IN THE HOOP on my embroidery machine! It’s a really cool process, and I’m so glad I found a pattern that allows me to use my machine — the same machine I make all of my appliqués for slippers.
If anyone is an in-the-hoop embroider the pattern is from Creative Appliqués. Easy to follow pattern and great video tutorials, too! Highly recommend it! 😊
